welcome to my first wave. with it, i’d like to share this series of collages from a collection called “animated archvies.”
i find never ending inspiration in sorting through vintage post cards, photographs, and magazine articles. archive.org is a favorite library resource that allows me to enjoy this activity in the digital space. this inspiration fuels a desire to colllage, which has been a favorite creative outlet of mine for many years. i particluarly love the way it allows my subconcious mind to play with shape, texture, object, and form. my latest expressions of collage have an added layer of animation to them.
ALL DRESSED UP is a sequence of frames where the figure stares distantly, and their outfit changes like a cameleon adapting to it’s environment.
